Plastovex creates value for its clients in all phases of the process, from the selection of materials to the creation of the final product. Regardless of the sector involved, we are capable of producing the finished product stock profile required to satisfy the client's needs.
We also produce extrusion tools internally depending on client requirements.
Extruding seals made from PVC and TPE
Seals from softened PVC – resistant to regular weather conditions. Good flexibility and thermal properties, good for shape stability and high flexibility. Service temperature ranges are from – 30 to +70 degrees Celsius. Seals are produced in a range of shapes and sizes. Applications in a broad range of sectors including furniture, landscaping and households.
Seals made from thermoplastics (TPE) - thermoplastic elastomers are a unique class of materials that combine the key properties of workability and recyclable-nature of thermoplastics with the wide range of physical properties of heat-hardened rubber such as flexibility, low permanent deformation under pressure and high flexibility. Elastomers combine the elastic properties of rubber without vulcanization as well as chemical resistance, a wide range of hardness ratings, resistance to weather conditions and ozone and fatigue resistance as well. Service temperature ranges are from -40 to +110 degrees Celsius. These properties make them a suitable replacement in a number of applications that generally use much more expensive silicone seals. TPE seals first achieved commercial importance as a replacement for vulcanized rubber.
